It feels very personal when you receive a handwritten postcard from a family relative or close friend, but the printed picture is quite impersonal. That boring cityscape with bad typography showing you basically first images you’d find by searching online for a specific place. It’s soulless and forgettable.
That’s why I like sending my photos as postcards. People told me it not only gives them a pleasant feeling, but some framed them and are keeping them on the wall, making it a permanent memory and a nice photo to enjoy it everyday.
