My favorite activity during city breaks is to roam the streets and snap people’s lives and the environment we built. However, it’s mostly visual aspect that I’m curious about. Shadows and lights, reflections, shapes and textures. It all comes in a vibrant interplay.
When doing street photography, I’m trying to be as invisible as possible, to capture the moment without my intervention to the subject. Leaving it intact and truthful. By using a very small camera, currently Panasonic Lumix GM5, I can be a “boring tourist” making people more relaxed than if they would see me with a big DSLR and a “fat white” lens.
