Outcasts

I was attracted to a minimalist and nomadic style of life as I felt the pressure of our society to spend and keep the loop going. Those who are not playing by those “rules” of consumerism are being marked as outcasts from society. Not welcomed, abandoned and considered a “lower” class.
Covering lives of Roma people, refugees, homeless and similar social classes brought me to a realization that is opposite of what our modern cultures are teaching us. I found those people to be more human, open and relaxed than many of well situated people. Just by being curious about them, they welcomed me in their lives a minute after getting to meet me. Showing me their family, friends, where and how they live. I’ve seen how everything is in a very bad shape, but one feeling was constant. Their eternal happiness beside all the darkness around. Their curiosity and struggle for better life, their fight to survive.
